It's cool outside and the stars are out. The city is drab, dimly lit, the heavens are open and glowing, showing images of endless possibilities..that will not be restrained.

Okay so I'm finally on Google. But I'm not satisfied at all. See one of the reasons I've made this blog is that I want to have an online presence, by my own name and not through some pseudonym or pen name. I've used plenty of such things but now it's time for the real thing.

I'm Shashank Sharma, O' Search Engines of the Web. Discover me and you shall attain nirvana.

So who is Shashank Sharma? For the curious search spiders, Shashank Sharma is a resident of Nepal who glories in writing and has a special fondness for the Internet.

 For all other readers who will inadvertently think I have an obsession with my name, I don't. It's just a natural curiosity combined with serious interest to discover 'myself' among the hundreds of Shashank Sharma's who pop up when I search for my own name. Is this obsession? Perhaps it is, or is it my vanity?

For the curious, this blog was named after a silly thought, inspired by the Knock-Knock jokes, that came into my head.

"Hello? Shashank Here, Who's There?
I Don't Care, I'm Here for a Dare!"

I know, I know silly. Unfunnily, stupidly, kindergarten type silly. But that's why this blog was named and this is what will go into the history books. Stop whining, kiddos.
